6th single election
[edit]@Onel5969: Why did you say they are advertisements? In Indonesia, all of them (Kompas Gramedia Group, Detik, and MetroTV) have been, and are trustworthy news outlets. What is the ground for you to even dare to say such insulting OPINION? Kalo mereka ngiklan dibayar manajemen JKT48, pasti disebut lengkap nama+sponsornya: "Pemilihan Member Single ke-6 JKT48 presented by Honda: The Power of Dreams". Kenyataannya nggak kan? Mereka nulis voting lah, pemilu lah. Kalo nggak kembangin Wikipedia negeri sendiri. Anda lho cuma utak-atik artis luar Indonesia (India, dsb.) tapi sekalinya ngurus artis lokal malah memberikan kontribusi yang tidak membangun dan informatif sama sekali. Saya tunggu jawaban Anda sampai pergantian hari. Salam. – Flix11 (talk) 16:01, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

- Okay let me repeat this. What is the ground for you to even dare to say such insulting opinion? If they advertised the event the news would have been written complete with the event's official name and sponsor, like this: "Pemilihan Member Single ke-6 JKT48 presented by Honda: The Power of Dreams". In fact, all reports say none of it. They even say it with other terms which are unofficial ("Pemilu", Voting). At the other hand, the media which could be said as promoting the event, antv (its official broadcaster) and viva.co.id as streaming platform for the event kept absolutely nothing about it. They might do that back then, but we can no longer prove it. At the other hand there is MetroTV, in which JKT48's appearance can be said as rare. As a news TV, they rarely do something related to the entertainment world. They even have no infotainment (had one alike back then, but aired weekly, so hardly to say one). JKT48 appearance there since it started can be counted with 2 full hands (Mata Najwa: "Sihir Selera Impor" (May 2015) and "Cerita Anak Presiden" (24 February 2016), Just Alvin (16 June 2013 episode), Sudut Pandang bersama Fifi Aleyda Yahya ("Demi Sang Idola", January 2015), Metro Kini (2 March 2014), Lensa Bisnis (23 March 2014), Ikonia (17 February 2013), Indonesia Now, and Metro Xin Wen (both aired 9 March 2013), and in Eagle Documentary Series: Idolaku Jiwa Ragaku (18 April 2014), which only covers the side of fans and no interviews at all with the members nor management. As you can see, only 1 program involving members aired during the election process, so it's almost unlikely that they were paid to advertise the event. Your allegation that those medias made fake news (promoted content w/o promotion tag) shocked me. If you can not trust these credible medias, then what media do you trust? The ones making hoaxes in order to discredit one presidential candidate? If you do not understand the issue, maybe you should fix stubs article, like Jatidiri Stadium. If not, fix the ID WP, since the local has so much issues about updating and writing in proper language (sentence case, etc.). Thank you for your other contributions that make this WP better. Cheers. – Flix11 (talk) 02:42, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, let me just be clear. In order for you to repeat something, it must be in ENGLISH the first time. Second, you really have to understand what a reliable, secondary source is, and what are reliable sources, and what are promotional material. I couldn't care less that you are offended by someone pointing out that the sources you use are advertisements. So we'll go to AfD, since you have chosen to be so uncivil.
