Fine by me when someone edits to improve, but imo, something was lost in this removal including red link to Crissy Lee who from a UK/Europe/early female musician perspective could be worth making an article about later: [1] & scroll down to "Tell us about your first season with The Ivy Benson Band" It's a first-hand description of some Benson production and training style, mentions other names in the band & arrangements; and why the band was fading.

Someone could mine it later. Cheers, Manytexts (talk) 00:44, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's a nice article but I'm not sure if an article mainly about someone other than the subject meets the external links guidelines, although if an article is created on her it would certainly be relevant in the see also section. It would be worth adding it to WP:Requested articles and providing the source there. January (talk) 11:22, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You make a good point in the strict definition of WP:EL, yet I've seen links that offer more information than included in an article at its time of development, that are left there for others to use & expand later. In this case, it wasn't meant to distract from Benson's content but to give it detail from an eye-witness if you like. It's up to future editors and afai'm aware it's okay. You might like to get another opinion if it helps the article. Manytexts (talk) 16:21, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I would consider the talk page the appropriate place to put links that are intended for future expansion since this is the collaboration area for article improvement, that's what I usually do. January (talk) 17:07, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
