Adjunk-hoof van Staf Logistiek
[edit]The Scientaria article only says he was appointed "Deputy Head" (Na sy dienstermyn as waarnemende Hoof van Staf Inligting, word hy op 1 Julie 1978 Adjunk-hoof van Staf Logistiek.) Without a reference that says otherwise this claim in the article and succession box should be changed or deleted.[1]

- John thank you, but look carefully he was C Army S Log, A/CSI, Dep CSL for one month of June and in July he became CSL. Another thing I am writing the CSW/RMS way which says a rank is written in title case only when it precedes a surname. HipNosisG (talk) 14:06, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Ok. Point one. Agreed.
- Point two. Firstly, CSW is all kinds of stupid and wrong. Secondly, that's ignoring all the other possibilities. If the rank is used as a post, for example "First Lieutenant" of the ship, then it is a proper name and must be capitalised. There are numerous other examples, and the WP:MOS is a little fuzzy on this issue. BoonDock (talk) 16:36, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
