The result of the proposal was Move Parsecboy (talk) 22:14, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I fail to see the relevance of MOS:TM here. There is no trademark issue; the symbol is greek alphabet letter. U-Mos (talk) 08:36, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. The obvious question is: "What do the sources say?" To answer that, let's see how some online sources write the song name. Now, Allmusic uses "Ithica 27-9". Discogs uses "Ithica 27Φ9" (that's a majuscule phi letter, I think). This review uses "Ithica 27/9". This one writes "Ithica 27o9". Here, they just say "Ithica". And here, we have "Ithica 27 Ø 9" – a delightful Scandinavian touch by the use of a majuscule Ø letter. Now, all of those titles should probably redirect to whatever is the result of this move discussion. With this many different variants, I'd go with the official usage (is that a minuscule phi?) and redirect everything to it. That way at least the user learns how it's supposed to be written. So yeah, support. Jafeluv (talk) 20:30, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It would seem that the upper case phi, for want of a better word, is "fatter" than the one in question here. Also, in addition to the above single cover here is the track listing as printed on Ten Rapid. U-Mos (talk) 10:51, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's pretty clearly a ϕ (lowercase phi) in the cover. Jafeluv (talk) 11:33, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ithica

[edit]

Why in the world does Ithica redirect here? Does anyone seriously think this is the primary Ithica? Is Wikipedia suddenly overrun with Mogwai fans? Thmazing (talk) 01:03, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

agreed, thats rediculous. this should be a disambiguation page.P0PP4B34R732 (talk) 01:14, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
