Two track listings
[edit]If you look at the two most recent edits (at time of posting) then the question is pretty obvious: Do we really need more than just those two sentences in notes to explain the different track listing? Surely just explaining it the way it's already done ("This version moves Ye's six produced tracks to the start and Pharrell's six produced tracks to the end of the track listing.") does the job fine, right? Well clearly Nicenice23 disagrees (which is fine, that's the whole point of this website) so that's why I come here to ask. QuietHere (talk) 19:34, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
- And since Nicenice brought it up, I've also started a query for Kendrick Lamar's Damn. which has a more directly stated version of my position on the matter. QuietHere (talk) 19:45, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
- @QuietHere if we're going to do Ye vs. Pharell then we need to include the listing for Pharell vs. Ye. It should be all or nothing. CanningIO (talk) 21:44, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- What are you basing your argument on other than a personal preference? "It should be" is a statement of opinion not based on any WP policy that I'm aware of. And if it can be explained much more briefly and conveniently in prose (which it can like I pointed out above) then I really don't see the point in filling up a bunch of space unnecessarily. - Another editor at the Damn. query suggested I take the matter elsewhere and now I've done so. Please take all further discussion here instead. QuietHere (talk) 07:00, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
Pharell vs. Ye
[edit]Both versions are on streaming. Should we add this one as well? CanningIO (talk) 02:31, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
