What is the purpose of the section "Actinides vs Fission Products"?

[edit]

There is a section named "Actinides vs Fission Products", only containing a chart of actinides and fission products, by half life. I don't see the purpose of this chart, or the section. Is there some reason for this that I am unaware of? I intend to delete the chart, as it is already present on the page about nuclear waste. I5-X600K (talk) 02:20, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

228Ac alpha decay

[edit]

Per this source it was reported in 1969, but still remained unconfirmed as of 2010. Double sharp (talk) 03:27, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed this decay mode (as NUBASE2020 did not say "α?" for 228Ac); otherwise we have to list 224Fr as a trace isotope of francium in its page. 129.104.241.214 (talk) 09:15, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To which extent are 227Ac and 210Pb similar?

[edit]

They are both beta-emitters with low energies, and they even have similar half-lives... 129.104.241.99 (talk) 04:05, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
