Metropark name
[edit]"The New Jersey Transit and Amtrak Metropark Station is named for this area". What evidence is there of this??? It appears the station predated the and was orginally named Garden State Metropark (to distinguish it from the station originally known as Capital Beltway Metropark). It appears more likely the stations were named Metropark because they were park and ride stations meant to serve the Metroliner service (the name therefore being a portmanteau of Metroliner and park). Furthermore, I beleive that the Metropopark area arose subsequent (and due to) the opening of the station. The area appears named for the station, not visa-versa.
