As their shared ancestor is a 3x great-grandfather [viz. Reuben Oakeshott of Rochester, Kent], they would be fourth cousins (as a shared grandparent makes 1st cousins, shared great-grandparent makes 2nd cousins, shared great-great-grandparent makes 3rd cousins). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.112.76 (talk) 17:00, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

age

[edit]

age is a bit vague. Looks like she was born in June 1974 (https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07574510/officers). Not sure how to change this! 2A00:23C7:C602:1101:B56B:7227:8A0A:336F (talk) 11:10, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

She's redacted her middle name? 90.198.118.140 (talk) 00:30, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There was never a RS that supported her having that middle name. Cortador (talk) 07:21, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Companies House is a reliable source and records her name as Isabel Euphemia OAKESHOTT. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/vbHOT5PddpnIYsmhJSM2VlT7Omc/appointments 165.120.34.192 (talk) 14:59, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oakeshott confirmed in an interview that she had broken the non-disclosure agreement by leaking Hancock's messages,[37]

Oakeshott confirmed in an interview that she had broken the non-disclosure agreement by leaking Hancock's messages,[37]

37. "Isabel Oakeshott says Matt Hancock sent her a 'menacing message'". BBC News. 1 March 2023. Retrieved 2 March 2023.

Article cited does not state that Oakeshott confirms that she had broken the non-disclosure agreement. 92.7.213.122 (talk) 12:55, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It seems she initially said there was an NDA and later said there wasn't one. Given that she's a primary source on the matter and has said two contradictory things, I've chosen to just remove the sentence until a more independent source confirms she has broken an NDA. — Czello 13:00, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for making the alteration. I don't know whether she contradicted herself or not. In an interview on YouTube she seemed to suggest that the WhatsApp messages might not be subject to the NDA-like agreement she had with Hancock. On the other hand I might have misinterpreted her. 92.7.213.122 (talk) 14:57, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
