Coat-of-arms: history? Not just legend pls.[edit]
Legends are nice, but is there any base for a 5th-century heraldic use in Florence? Or doeas it actually only appear in the High Middle Ages, with the Guelphs and their capo d'Angiò or "chief of Anjou", i.e. a French royal fleur-de-lis? Less pleasing for local patriots, by maybe the accurate origin, or isn't it? Arminden (talk) 11:39, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
