Precautionary statements

Are they really necessary? Many are innane and technically the sheet they are read from is a finished commercial formulation, not the chemical ioxynil itself. (some differences: e.g. the solvent used is naphtha and adds itself a bunch of warnings related to flammability and health risk. These aren't about ioxynil and aren't generally applicable to other ioxynil formulations either. The Hazard statements are applicable because they are specific to the technical grade ioxynil used.
