Clotel, or the President's Daughter
[edit]The text says it was written in 1953, but the text also makes it apparent that it was written in 1853. I Googled the title, and a UNC website confirms that 1853 was the publication date. [edit]The publisher of the first edition was Garrigues Bros, Philadelphia. The title here is from the 3rd edition.
