[edit]Can someone who speaks fluent German incorporate the more significant ideas of the German wiki on this? http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabale_und_Liebe --Caute AF (talk) 06:35, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
It's a pity the translation from the German Wikipedia article has been edited - e.g. the removal of even (for German readers) the admittedly basic outlining of 'Sturm und Drang', and the assessment of this play's importance for the German theatre. Such things matter. As does (not Wikipedia's fault) the title. If you Google Kabale und Liebe you get German Wikipedia. Input 'Cabale und Liebe' - French Wikipedia. Most innocent Anglophone users will meet the title in German, (as, for instance, in anything dealing with the Verdi opera 'Luisa Miller'), and googling it will suggest the absence of a Wikipedia article in English. You have to have A level German and KNOW THE PLAY to realise you need to input 'Intrigue and Love'. I got here by inputting 'Schiller's play 'Kabale und Liebe', which at least introduces one English word. There has to be a better solution.Delahays (talk) 08:27, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
