Lead

  • " It is a north–south freeway despite its even number, as the Hawai‘i routes of the Interstate system were not numbered according to the mainland standard" — Not mentioned in body.

Route description

  • What is the Waiawa Interchange?
    • The name of the interchange, which should be self explanatory.
  • Strategic in what sense?
    • Added.
  • Are there updated numbers for 2021?
    • They won't be released for a few months, if not longer.

History

  • Can this be broken up into subsections?
    • Done.
  • $29.2 million can take the {{inflation}} template.
    • Done.
  • Ditto $51 million.
    • Done.
  • H-2 was described as "Hawaii's forgotten freeway" — Who described it that way?
    • Credited to "local newspapers", as both dailies used the term.
  • Can Cabrini Chapel take a red link?
    • Don't think it would be notable on its own.
  • Same for $43 million.
    • Done.

@Usernameunique: Thanks for the review. I've responded to your criticisms and made the changes I felt were appropriate. SounderBruce 04:13, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, SounderBruce. Two comments above, but passing now. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:38, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I put this in WP:Good articles/Engineering and technology#Road infrastructure: United States, but if you have a better idea, feel free to move it. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:42, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'll move it to the Western subcategory. It is the first Hawaiian road to get up to GA, so no worries about the confusion. SounderBruce 05:46, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
