Lead
- " It is a north–south freeway despite its even number, as the Hawai‘i routes of the Interstate system were not numbered according to the mainland standard" — Not mentioned in body.
- Removed.
- I'm not sure you need to remove it. Perhaps you could start "Route description" by saying something like "H-2 is an 8.3-mile-long freeway that runs north–south, connecting Pearl City with Waiawa", and then add a footnote at "north–south" explaining the difference. But I'll leave it up to you. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:36, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- I think it would be best to explain the numbering at List of Interstate Highways in Hawaii (if that's ever split out), as it applies to all four routes. SounderBruce 05:47, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

Route description
- What is the Waiawa Interchange?
- The name of the interchange, which should be self explanatory.
- Strategic in what sense?
- Added.
- Are there updated numbers for 2021?
- They won't be released for a few months, if not longer.
History
- Can this be broken up into subsections?
- Done.
- $29.2 million can take the {{inflation}} template.
- Done.
- Ditto $51 million.
- Done.
H-2 was described as "Hawaii's forgotten freeway"
— Who described it that way?- Credited to "local newspapers", as both dailies used the term.
- Can Cabrini Chapel take a red link?
- Don't think it would be notable on its own.
- Same for $43 million.
- Done.
References
- Newspaper titles can take links.
- Only linked on the first use to prevent overlinking (as there was a merger between the two papers used).
- Is The Honolulu Advertiser linked? --Usernameunique (talk) 05:38, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

- Retrieval dates not needed for printed matter.
- Prefer to keep them in case Newspapers.com updates their scans and these are re-clipped.
@Usernameunique: Thanks for the review. I've responded to your criticisms and made the changes I felt were appropriate. SounderBruce 04:13, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- No problem, SounderBruce. Two comments above, but passing now. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:38, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- By the way, I put this in WP:Good articles/Engineering and technology#Road infrastructure: United States, but if you have a better idea, feel free to move it. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:42, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- I'll move it to the Western subcategory. It is the first Hawaiian road to get up to GA, so no worries about the confusion. SounderBruce 05:46, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
