Rode
[edit]Please don't add anything about Rode or any other living persons without a source. See WP:BLP for the reasoning. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 10:27, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- I have removed the unconfirmed statement. --RoadAhead =Discuss= 18:26, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Statement-1
[edit]The following statement has been moved from article page to here since its problematic, please fix things like "is to be taken seriously" and add citations:
That this outfit, whose operatives were arrested in 1997 when a bid to assassinate the then Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, is to be taken seriously became clear when Intelligence sources reported in March 2008 that the ISI is making serious attempts to revive Sikh militancy in India by coordinating among various terror outfits.
--RoadAhead =Discuss= 18:38, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Statement-2
[edit]The following statement is verbatim copy paste from [1].
"If the KZF works closely with the Kashmir militants, the ISYF was the first outfit ever to touch base with Markaze Dawat War Irshad, the parent body of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba"
Please do not use unconfirmed sensationalist news items for such claims. Feel free to add back appropriately with properly citations. --RoadAhead =Discuss= 20:04, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
SATP
[edit]I have removed the references to the South Asian Terrorism Portal [2] here. I'm not sure that the source qualifies under WP:RS. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 05:59, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- I am confident it does not. Useful, yes, but not wp:RS. Self-published.- sinneed (talk) 13:46, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- A lot of things are self published but that does not mean you delete huge items and articles repeatedly like Sikh Terrorism without discussion Morbid Fairy (talk) 21:54, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I am sorry, I thought you were talking about an edit I had made here. I see now that you were speaking of some other article. Sorry. Please ignore the response below, as it is spurious. Please see wp:Talk... this article talk page should refer directly to content in ISYF. Please join the discussion here if interested. Please also see wp:edit summary and use them.- sinneed (talk) 23:17, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

::::The following is a spurious response, I thought the above note was about this article(edit) -- Actually, yes, information that is challenged and not covered by wp:RS may most certainly be deleted at any time. I have integrated the content you added in your large and destructive edit. I hope you will add content to the article, with wp:RS. I will flag the SATP bits with Dubious.- sinneed (talk) 22:44, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
On further review, all the content "restored" in Morbid Fairy's deletion was already in the article. Every source, every statement. I only thought I found 2 that were not...but I was mistaken.- sinneed (talk) 01:33, 23 June 2009 (UTC)- sinneed (talk) 01:40, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
An editor has objected to the article.
[edit]The editor appears to feel that the addition of the the terrorism listing, the citation of the banning under terror laws, is not adequate. I have made proposed wording changes to the lead, to strengthen the terrorism statement. This may be wp:POV...I may simply be giving in here as I did at Labh Singh to the edit warriors. I tire.- sinneed (talk) 18:16, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
