Is it the same as IISL?
[edit]International Institute of Space Law is a redirect to this page, but it is not clear at all that they are the same thing. It is mentioned in passing in this article that the two organizations are "linked", whatever that means. Should IISL be a separate article? Nerfer (talk) 20:16, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- If both topics are to be in this one article, then at the very least IISL should be a separate section with a definition, and the existing links to IISL removed from this article (which create loops for the unsuspecting reader bringing them back to this article). Also, the dozen or so links to IISL from other articles should instead point to the IAF article. At one point they were obviously separate articles. Nerfer (talk) 20:55, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose split as it is not clear that there is enough material. However, I agree with Nerfer that a separate section is needed. I've added it, and changed the redirect to link to the section. If other think that this is sufficient then perhaps the proposal could be closed. Klbrain (talk) 18:02, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Franck J. Malina Astronautics Medal
[edit]The award page and the merge to page are both short enough that they can accommodate each other for now and do not need to exist as two separate entities. Classicwiki (talk) If you reply here, please ping me. 04:33, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Classicwiki:I agree with merging the articles. The award page's information would be more approriate under the IAF's page "Awards" subsection vs. it's own page. Balon Greyjoy (talk) 03:46, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 17:51, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
