To whom it may concern

The Institute of Parliamentary and Political Law is a relatively new organization, so I hope you understand that there are not a lot of references to the Institute in the legal and academic community just yet. That written, I am hoping it is obvious from its patronage and staff (the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, the Law Clerk of the House of Commons and his Senior Counsel, the Dean of the University of Manitoba Law School,) the fact that it has volume of Journals published, and the 3rd Conference it is hosting, that this is a thoroughly premeditated and organized institute that intends to make a on-going and lasting contribution to the study of law in Canada.

Bearing this in mind, and noting the criticism of the first versions of this entry, I have tried to write as parsimonious and succinct description of the Institute as possible. Regarding its mission, I can find no more explicit explanation, at this time, than the one provided.

Indeed, I used some of the other Wikipedia pages relating similar types of organizations as a bit of a guide to creating this entry, and all I can say is that they are, by and large, guilty of far greater errors of "advertising" and poor editing.

I hope this entry, given the newness of the Institute, meets Wikipedia criteria.
