Keen to improve this page

[edit]

Hi, my name is Andrew. Full disclosure, I'm the Head of External Relations at the Quadram Institute and I'd like to see the page improved. There is a fair amount of information missing. The institute is a partnership between the NHS https://www.nnuh.nhs.uk/research-and-innovation/our-research-partners/quadram-institute/ and the University of East Anglia https://www.uea.ac.uk/research/explore/poo-transplants

For example, the institute is a UK research institute strategically funded by BBRSC, as stated, but is also home to the UK's Food Databanks National Capability (our scientists provide the nutritional data you get on food packaging) and the National Collection of Yeast Cultures.

The institute has also been active in the UK's national response to Covid-19 with the Quadram undertaking genomic sequencing through the Covid-19 Genomics Consortium UK, https://www.rte.ie/brainstorm/2021/0325/1205992-covid-19-worldwide-policies-lockdown-health-economy-vaccines/ https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/COVID-19_Genomics_UK_Consortium — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.218.67 (talk) 08:11, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, a Covid-19 vaccine trial through NIHR of the Novavax vaccine and the CoPS study which is looking at the impact of Covid-19 on the gut.

It would be a clear conflict of interest for me to edit this page but if I can throw this out to the Wikipedia community, be happy to help improve it's factual content.
