@Gerda Arendt:, @MelanieN: - I've turned down a CSD A7 because of this news search, but my German is not good enough to know what her association is with Tim Curry's performance in It and help beef up the content. Can you help? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 21:27, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • [1] title of an interview by Westdeutscher Rundfunk (notable public radio) is on the development of clowns from entertaining to bad (böse).
  • [2] about an exposition she curated in Dortmund (where I grew up)
  • [3] about same, by another notable radio station, "horror clowns"
Sorry, found no mentioning of It so far, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:43, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, if you don't know anything about It (Es in German), it's probably for the best. It is undoubtedly the scariest thing I have ever seen on television, and even 25 years later I still don't like clowns. Seriously. But she does seem to have some significance in the German art world, so I dare say deletion is premature. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 22:00, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Probably. What I tried to say is that I found no connection to it in these sources. No doubt she is notable in the art world, with that coverage, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:39, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There's a difference between her work being notable and her being notable, so there is serious doubt about her being notable and the article doesn't even assert any importance. The Dissident Aggressor 23:33, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any assertion of importance at all. Why is this even an article? The Dissident Aggressor 23:29, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

==Stub Class==

I have rated this article stub class for Wikiproject Germany because it still contains only rough information about the subject and has no references. --Banime (talk) 22:20, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
