This comment was placed in the article and I moved it here, where it is more appropriate. dnw (talk) 21:40, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
The article says:
Inge Studied sculpture with Hermann Nonnenmacher(1892–1988) during 1936-37...
I'm not challenging this, but it would be good to cite a reference. It would also be good to mention King in the new article on Hermann Nonnenmacher. I don't want add this without citing a reference.
Presumably this was in Germany before they both left for England. Was it in Berlin, where King studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Nonnenmacher had lived? Verbcatcher (talk) 18:39, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

An exemplary article
[edit]This article is engagingly written and accessible and serves as a great example of art historical writing which is both factual and inspiring. The way events and conditions of each period are woven around King's life makes it useful to students not familiar with history. sinarau (talk) 11:55, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
