I have to agree with the above. There is a lot of mostly health related information using the term "infodemic", which is mainly related to COVID-19, natually. And this is in legitimate publications. (AbrewaAccraLady (talk) 13:40, 24 February 2021 (UTC))[reply]
I have added a few sources. Importantly, a UN report and a peer-reviewed journal both use the term "Infodemic" (The peer-reviewed journal uses it in the title). I am removing the notice based on these two sources.

User:JPxG has added a notability tag to the article. A quick search of the term "infodemic" on Google Scholar returns multiple hits to peer-reviewed journals using the word "infodemic" in the title. The United Nation and World Health Organization both have used the term. I added a few sources in July, and I think the notice is unwarranted.
