I added section on economics of IPCs. I read somewhere (but am looking for the references) that IPCs can induce many multiples of economic activity to obtain the prize. Merge with "Prizes as an alternative to patents" article?
If I understand correctly, the prizes in the above article refer to inducement prizes, so it seems reasonable to move the article into a subsection "Inducement prizes as an alternative to patents" in this article here. What do you think? Meerpirat (talk) 13:32, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
