Uncited claims of ethnicity

[edit]

Hi, I removed there names as they are uncited WP:RS, I checked a couple and they were not cited in their article so I have moved them here for citing and replacing, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 20:10, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Summary

[edit]

Indo-Mauritian refers to those from Mauritius of Indian descent. It doesn't mean they're of mixed descent as the article gave the impression. Sure there are doubtless those of mixed descent but Indo-Mauritian (and Indo-Seychellois and Réunionnais of Indian origin and Malbars for that matter. The same goes for Indo-Carribean and all the subsets of that (i.e. they refer to those of Indian descent, not to those of mixed descent). Which makes the African connection there very tenuous. And the Andamanese connection is even worse. Just because they have dark skin and curly hair, doesn't mean they have a connection to Africa (any more than any other human). By that measure, Tamils and Australian Aborigines would also be African. Really, I'll remove that as well. Munci (talk) 13:26, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
