Serbian vs Bosnian
[edit]She is Serbian, born from Serbian parents, Živko & Rosa, in Republika Srpska. Calling her Bosnian singer is a huge mistake - 20 years ago, during the war, she even had troubles to prove that she is Serbian (because of her name, popular among muslims)(so she recoreded anti-war song I was thought to love everyone/Sve da volim ona me ucila). --93.87.110.202 (talk) 01:45, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
Technically, she's a Bosnian Serb. --DemirBajraktarevic (talk) 08:08, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- By ethnicity, she is Bosnian Serb, but by nationality, and professionally speaking, she is Serbian. Kurir: "Srpska pevačica", Srbija danas: "Srpska pevačica", Puls online: "Jedna od popularnih srpskih", Jutarnji.hr: "Srpska pjevačica, srpska Shakira", 24sata.hr: "srpska folk-pjevačica", Doznajemo: "Srpska pjevačica bosanskih korijena". --Zoupan 14:09, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
