I can find nothing about this tour on Sri Lankan, BCCIICC nor ESPNcricinfo fixtures pages (or anything at all indicating the tour is actually happening). There are a number of websites with the exact same wording of the fixtures. Neither the Sri Lankan nor BCCI twitter feeds have an announcement either. I find both the SL and BCCI sites to be pretty poor in posting announcements of future tours. SL sources only posted their squad for the Zimbabwe series yesterday (and it starts tomorrow), for example. I also find that the ICC site doesn't have all the future tour dates on them, until they start with their press release sections (ditto for Cricinfo). Now the Future Tour Programme does have this series listed, which is usually correct (bar the obvious India/Pakistan future fixtures). Without sounding too fence-sitting, I guess we'll see in a under a months' time...! LugnutsFire Walk with Me09:24, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. The articles I found with the dates (including the one referenced) state that the dates were confirmed / released: I guess whoever did this must have used channels other than actually publicising it on their own website. I'm glad the world's third most popular sport is so well run! Spike 'em (talk) 10:35, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
