Indian Money
[edit]The cited book asserting that crinoid fossils were sometimes called "Indian money" does not appear to describe crinoid beads. The text is online, and a search engine isolating references to beads only discovered the monetary use of beads made from periwinkle and clam shells. The cited page 410 mentions beads and wampum, but nothing defines those beads as having been derived from crinoid fossils. 2602:306:CCDE:B100:67D3:89DC:50BB:996A (talk) 23:01, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
