@Continentaleurope:, would you have any suggestion for how to fetch some images to illustrate this page? It would be nice to have a photo of one of the Sindhi shops in Valletta - either a contemporary photo, if there is still any, or something from some newspapers published before 1998. Any hint? There are several things related to Indians in Malta such as constructed buildings by Hindu/Sikh, restaurants, cultural activity in San Gwann, present migrant workers, etc. I am not generally involved in photographing people but can help with your request. I have a photo of the Ahmadija Muslim leader in Malta but he is Pakistani, though Ahmadija religion originates in India. Copyright in Malta is 70 years after the owner’s death. @Dans: I am not very familiar with the Indian community and activity in Malta. There are more Indian workers today. However most are domestic workers. There are a number of Indian restaurants but not very noteworthy by themselves.
