It wasn't me, but the statement that the poor are getting poorer doesn't necessarily follow from an increased wealth gap. It could also be the case that the poor are getting richer but at a much reduced rate compared to the rich or that they are remaining perfectly constant. I am not a subject matter expert but it does look like there is a logical fallacy at play here. BlackVegetable (talk) 13:44, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
