Genre

[edit]

Surely the debate (which comes with literally every trivium release) can be left until the album is released? They are a Thrash metal/metalcore band for the most part, surly that can be agreed on and left for now at least?? Dims25 (talk) 01:02, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

Surely this page can be titled simply "In Waves (album)"? There isn't any other band that's released an album with that title, and this is in fact the only article that comes up when you type "In Waves" in the search bar. Shadowhanz05 (talk) 02:46, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Shadowhanz05[reply]

I'd agree on that. There is no other album called "In Waves" yet. Though there is a band called In Waves. 178.9.118.131 (talk) 13:03, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Critical Reception

[edit]

Some fool has changed it.An aggregate of 66/100 on Metacritic does not idicate "mixed/fair reviews," it indicates "generally favourable reviews." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.109.48.167 (talk) 12:03, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

groove metal

[edit]

This album has some clear Machine Head influences, and songs like Black could easily be labeled as groove metal. So what do you think, should groove metal be added as one of the genres? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.156.12.14 (talk) 19:42, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that there are hints of groove metal, but there aren't really any sources that will meet WP:Source to support the addition. If it were to be added it would be reverted by another editor pretty quickly due to being an unsourced genre change. -Jer Hit me up 19:52, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
