I have reinstated the WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography banner that was removed by FarSouthNavy per WP:PROJSCOPE, as WikiProjects determine which articles are members of their projects. WikiProject banner removal should be discussed with the relevant WikiProject, first. The guideline WP:LABEL only mentions the label "Terrorist", so removal from the Terrorist task force is understandable since the article does not specifically state these vehicles were used for terrorist purposes, although this is debatable when looking at the article sources. However, the guideline does not discuss criminal acts during peacetime. Whatever one's view on the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the article identifies that these vehicles were primarily constructed to be used in criminal acts during peacetime and that the targets of these crimes were not only military but also civilian. The article includes descriptions of the criminal acts used to acquire some of these vehicles. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:07, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
it's OK, I have my own convictions regarding the Troubles, but WP is not the place to discuss it. Let to say that you're are right that technically "criminal acts (were) used to acquire some of these vehicles". Regards. Darius (talk) 22:23, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
