Hello, I was trying to disambiguate some of the links pointing at forum; would it acceptable to remove the link from the word fora in the first sentence of this article as it seems that it is eventually going to cause the reader to end up back at this article... Otherwise, is another article needed for fora (not Imperial or Roman Forum)? Thanks for reading, I'll watch this page in case anyone with a better idea about the history of the Romans replies. Take care. Politepunk 21:13, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found the proper place to link it now. Politepunk 21:51, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This page should either be called Imperial forum, to correspond to the preference of using the singular always, or Imperial fora. ROCHDALE FOOTBALL CLUB ROCKS!

Menorah, etc., of the Temple in Jerusalem

[edit]

I have read sources which said that the Temple of Peace (or Forum of Vespasian) was where the Menorah and other Jewish Temple artifacts were carried to during or after the triumph celebrating the end of the Jewish-Roman War. I wonder if anyone has ever bothered to do research into what happened to these artifacts. — Rickyrab | Talk 17:33, 13 June 2007 (UTC) fdcfdf[reply]

Alaric sacked Rome in 397 and he is conjectured to have carried off much plunder, including the Menorah. He is said to have been buried under the Busento River, together with his loot. (See the article on Alaric.) A lot of people have searched for it, but never found it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.96.87.158 (talk) 08:08, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
