Wasn't the Shahanshaw of Iran/Persia also an Imperial Majesty? Weren't his children Imperial Highnesses?

Regarding, the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, wasn't he a Sublime Majesty or Sublemnity? Hasn't the Emperor of Japan also been referred to as Sublime Majesty?
