Copyright violations removed
[edit]I removed a couple of excessively-long quotations from sources published after 1923. Such sources are presumed to be still under copyright and not previously published under a "free" license unless proven otherwise. Please see Wikipedia:Copyrights for details. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 05:49, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot! Does that actually hold relative to blog posts, such as the one from Cronkite (2008)? When it came to Ivo Andric, this was on a rather serious site, it seemed, called freelibrary, but I should not presume for that reason the source IS generally free, but that, rather, freelibrary has gained particular license to publish it?Arildnordby (talk) 13:13, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- I don't understand your question "Does that actually hold relative to blog posts"? Copyright law applies to everything. As for freelibrary, it's unclear what their legal status is, but since it's not clearly and unambiguously published under a Wikipedia-compatible license by or with the permission of the copyright holders, we have to treat it as no-free content and WP:NFCC and related pages apply. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:56, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
