When I was reading the article I saw things mentioned like: "One of the national health objectives " but for which nation? Upon further research I discovered it meant the United States, and not once was the US mentioned in the article, and seeing as a large proportion of Wikipedians (including myself) are from outside the US, PLEASE mention the country you're talking and don't assume your readers are from the same country as you are.

I agree entirely, though at the moment I don't have time to expand this article with a larger worldview. It definitely needs "In the U.S." and "Worldwide" sections. If someone can get to this before I can, here are some resources that have info for both the U.S. and other parts of the world:

Also, "Immunization information system" (IIS) seems to be the more common name. Might also consider moving this to that title and redirecting this term to ISS. Lostraven (talk) 22:01, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I second this. From my experience, at least in the US, most of the Immunization Registries for each State even fit IIS into their name. RiotRecoil (talk) 21:12, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I work with Immunization Information Systems from all States and Territories of the US. I will try to add the "U.S." and "Worldwide" in the near future. I have a list of all of all the IIS's in the US I would like to add in the form of a table when I get a chance. If you think that would be useful, or have feedback, please let me know. Delete article?

[edit]

Should we delete this article? Maybe incorporate it in Vaccination schedule? And then make this article lemma a redirection to Vaccination schedule. Erik del Toro Streb (talk) 12:26, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
