Criteria for notability

[edit]

This is understandably very subjective. Wikipidia certainly has guidelines, but suggestions are also welcome.--Pinay06(TalkEmail) 03:05, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

IHMS Song

[edit]

Since it is Wikipedia policy that only songs free from copyright are included in the articles, express permission from the copyright holder/s is needed for the song to be in the article. --Pinay (talkemail) 16:03, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to try emailing them after I get what Bolanon sent to them. I am not sure what they have discussed so far, so I do not want to try and sound like a parrot. But my question is this; if the school is based in the Philippines, how can a Priest in Hawaii or California could give us permission to use the song? User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 18:04, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
They are alumni of the school and made the composition for the school in 2000 or thereabouts. The alumni are now spread all over the world as pastors, etc...--Pinay (talkemail) 18:14, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See partial List of Notable Professors and Alumni of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary to have an idea of where they are now...--Pinay (talkemail) 18:34, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I will try emailing this weekend. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 18:40, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Unless they email you first? --Pinay (talkemail) 18:56, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page is filled with exuberant boosterism

[edit]

This is an encyclopedia, not Facebook. Much of the material, and the tone used to describe this school, is unencyclopedic. There is a general lack of independent sources (see WP:PSTS. Further cuts will be required. Abductive (reasoning) 16:59, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
