What about Over the Brooklyn Bridge?

- According to this unreliable source, they recorded some of the film's soundtrack, rather than composed all of it. You really need verifiable sources(s) to edit accordingly, probably rather more appropriate to the movie and/or song(s) articles, rather than this one. For example, "In the Heat of the Night" was recorded in 1982, two years prior to the film's release; also "Changes" was issued in December 1982. I would suggest they had their music appropriated for the film rather than performed/composed/wrote work specifically for it. The usage of already recorded pop music for film soundtracks is an extremely common practice; the notability for such instances being rather debatable.
