Subject of the article

[edit]

AAAS.org mentions Image Capture and Analysis in a list of "technologies, equipment and supplies" on its registration page. Could it be that the term image capture is also used independently of the program that this article deals with, so far? On the AAAS page, there is all written with capitals, also "Antibody-Based Protein Detection", "High Content Screening", "High-Throughput Screening", "Microarray Analysis", "Gene Expression Analysis", "Microprobe Spectrometers", "Other Microscopes", and so on. --Hans Dunkelberg (talk) 11:15, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article is advertising for an Apple Product from my View

Image Capture is the capturing of digital images. I am not the only one who thinks so either. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Digital_image redirects here but that is not the real problem from my view. Here's the problem from my view... As a long time software engineer, graphics programmer and like most of the desktop world, a PC user, I don't use Wikipedia to hear about Apple Corp.'s products. In fact I don't want to hear about them at all. The link to this page is too generic and this page name should be changed to Image_Capture_Apple_Product or something else like that, in order to not break other articles of a more serious nature (speaking for myself of course).

If this article meets Wikipedia's Guidelines then that's a shame from my view.
