General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation

QPQ: No - Not done.
Overall: Article created on 7 June (technically nominated four hours late, but I'm going to ignore that), and just barely meets the length requirement. All sources are, as far as I can tell, reliable for the material they are cited for—though I have not been able to access all of them. Earwig reveals no copyvio, and I didn't spot any instances of unacceptably WP:Close paraphrasing. There are no obvious neutrality issues. ALT0 works as a quirky hook and ALT2 as a regular one (whereas ALT1 is basically the same as ALT0 but not as snappy). QPQ has not been done, but that's the only thing left. I have made a couple of edits myself, fixing typos and whatnot. Ping WJ94. TompaDompa (talk) 22:23, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. I had hoped to get my QPQ done by now but something came up which delayed me. If you'll forgive the delay, I'll have it done by the end of the week. WJ94 (talk) 10:01, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@TompaDompa: QPQ now done. Apologies for the delay and thanks for your patience. WJ94 (talk) 13:57, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ALT0 and ALT2 are ready. TompaDompa (talk) 16:09, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To add to article

[edit]

Basic information to add to this article: the name of the female cohost of this podcast. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 02:13, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If Books Could Kill only has two hosts, Michael Hobbes and Peter Shamshiri, both of whom are mentioned in the article. Perhaps you are thinking of Sarah Marshall who hosts You're Wrong About, which Hobbes used to co-host with her? WJ94 (talk) 09:26, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure there is a female co-host on the episode about David Brooks's Bobos in Paradise. She speaks all the way through this episode, yet is not identified in the information provided on the podcast page. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 20:01, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is not. I listened to this episode recently and it is hosted by Hobbes and Shamshiri alone. WJ94 (talk) 10:24, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
