This page is completely inaccurate. The clashes were not initially between Ahrar Al-Sham & JFS. Background is correct though. However, those clashes started at the same day of Astana talks, JFS launched operations to dismantle Jaysh al Mujahdeen & Sham Legion which were successful. In response, Suqor al-Sham & Jaysh al Islam declared war on JFS. JFS then captured most of Suqor al Sham positions in Jabal al-Zawya which forced its leader & the rest of FSA to pledge allegiance to Ahrar al-Sham for protection. Tahrir al Sham was then formed by JSF & Zinki to consolidate power, many of Ahrar al-Sham high rank members & brigades defected to the new formation.
