What Carl Sagan really said

We have a similar but less egregious case for Carl Sagan. Our text says:

Carl Sagan, in his book The Demon-Haunted World, referred to what were apparently Stevenson's investigations as an example of carefully collected empirical data, and though he rejected reincarnation as a parsimonious explanation for the stories, he wrote that the phenomenon of alleged past-life memories should be further researched. [emphasis supplied]

The text in italic has no support from either of the sources cited. Again, I've revised the text to bring it in line with what Sagan actually wrote. And again, if you think what I've done should be improved, please let's first discuss.
