- User:79.69.241.65 wrote the bulk of it - someone using Tiscali UK as their ISP. Also interesting that User:AustenBA features heavily in the history, when a Richard Austen-Baker is among the references cited. I would note that as per WP:Conflict of interest, Editors with COIs are strongly encouraged to declare their interests, even when as here, contributions seem to be reasonably WP:NPOV. I have done quite a bit of work on this page, though I'm not sure whether I added the references to the two Journal of Contract Law articles I wrote. I'm not all that keen on being reminded of the 2004 article - I think there were some good points made, but my views on other things have changed quite a lot and I would rather have some distance from that particular piece - so I think this was actually probably someone else's doing, but I could be wrong about that. Either way, these are peer-reviewed articles and relevant to the section in which they appear, alongside the works of a number of other scholars in the field. Certainly I don't want to promote myself, but I have done quite a bit of work on relational contract theory and particularly the work of Macneil, so some reference at some point is probably inevitable in such a long and detailed entry. I doubt any incidental "benefit" would be thought in this case to outweigh the interests of wikipedia, as per the COI policy. I'm sorry, though, that ignorance of this policy led me to fail to draw attention to the connexion on the talk page - a genuine oversight.Austenba (talk) 15:17, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
