GetUp content

[edit]

I am removing some of the GetUp content to the extent that it is not reflected by proper sources due to BLP concerns. This includes the description of Getup as "independent, grass-roots community advocacy" since these descriptions are not well-sourced in Hansard. Hansard, as a primary reference, is only a reliable source for the fact that a certain statement was made at a particular time. Interpretations of what he meant by this must be backed up by secondary sources.

The comment about GetUp's membership numbers is irrelevant, poorly sourced (it is only sourced to GetUp's own website), and does not match the number or date shown in that source. I am removing that also.

The statement that "[Macdonald] did not apologise to non-Jewish GetUp! members" is an unjustified extrapolation of the facts reported in the article cited as reference for that statement: the article reported on his apology, but no-where did it say he did not make another apology, and absence of a statement does not a statement of the absence make. I am removing this statement. --PalaceGuard008 (Talk) 13:34, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
