[edit]This page was created because of the fact that the song and artist recieve a lot of airplay in Australia and New Zealand, on the radio and particularly in clubs. The song is very popular and needs a page. И i m b u s a n i a talk 04:30, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- That's all fine and good, dear. But write it like a Wikipedia entry and not like some blurb in Vibe magazine. 189.62.74.200 (talk) 18:22, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
The "biography" in this article is pulled word for word from the artists MySpace page, and therefore constitutes plagiarism and should be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Liamdavies (talk • contribs) 08:52, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
I think it may be worthy of a mention how unusual the response to the "Get Shaky" been, especially to cities like Sydney considering the song doesn't get airplay in the USA.
It's been played on heavy rotation for months now in Australia. Eg. Right now on Nova's (a Sydney radio) chart-show, it's at position #5 and it's the end of February. The song has been on heavy rotation since at least December last year.
The article states that a song called Keep on Rising (or Rise elsewhere in the piece) was certified Gold in the UK. However, I can find no evidence that it made the charts. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that it sold 400,000 copies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Suedehead42 (talk • contribs) 10:25, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right. I have removed this, but (note to all editors) if what I've done is incorrect, feel free to revert my changes. It is extremely hard to find information about Ian Carey anywhere except for his MySpace page and Website. Actually now that he's found success in UK it may become slightly easier.
