Did The Skeleton Key ever top the box office?

The paragraph about The Skeleton Key says it and K-PAX topped the box office, but the citation is only for K-PAX, and the article for The Skeleton Key says it opened at number two. Did it hit number one later? Or is the article for The Skeleton Key wrong? Changing it might be easy enough but then someone will need to change the paragraph (since that's its only assertion about either film) and I haven't seen either one or I would Be Bold and change it myself.
