More or Less Than Half
[edit]In the section Honoring two-term tradition, the article states, "Coolidge had only served a little more than half of Harding's unexpired term before winning election in his own right." Later, it states, '"Coolidge served less than two years of Harding's term." I believe these two are contradictory. Coolidge assume the the office of the POTUS on August 3, 1923. Since his predecessor Harding was sworn in on March 4, 1921, isn't it true that he served more than half his term by himself? And therefore that Coolidge served less than half? Please advise. [edit]How exactly was the statement ambiguous? It seemed very clear that he was saying he...wasn't going to run. — THORNFIELD HALL (Talk) 00:40, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
