Webb Pierce

[edit]

It's very clear that this is a direct derivation from the old Webb Pierce favourite with little change - in fact it's closer to Pierce's earlier version, "Hillbilly Boogie" (1950) than his later "Teenage Boogie" (1956) - hear for yourself at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8KKjcaOrlk (Hillbilly Boogie) and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq7jlJyz8-8 (Teenage Boogie). I hope Bolan at least credited Webb if he didn't also pay royalties. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.243.100.168 (talk) 16:34, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
