Review coming soon.

Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • The article should use {{mdy}} dates as Rexha is American
  •  Not done The refs don't use mdy dates.
  • The cover needs alt text
  • The genre in the infobox should be electropop (see below)
  • I would remove the "first cover" as it comes from an unreliable source (WP:ALBUMAVOID) and there's no explanation as to why it is the "first cover"
  • "from her debut extended play" → "from her debut extended play,"
  • "as the lead single" → remove, it's not cited anywhere
  • "It is" → " "I Can't Stop Drinking About You" is"
  • "melancholia-inspired" → this sounds weird so I'd remove it entirely
  • The genre is electropop (see below)
  • "widespread acclaim" → I'd change to just "positive reviews" as there are not that many sources used to call it acclaim
  • "It failed to enter the US Billboard Hot 100" → remove per WP:CHARTTRAJ
  • "Drawing influence" → who drew influence?
  • I would recommend saying something along the lines of "A music video was released...It draws influence from" to flow better.
  • I would not call the video accompanying as it was not released on the same date as the song

Background and composition

[edit]
  • Some background on her career would help as this is her debut single
  • "as the lead single from Rexha's debut extended play I Don't Wanna Grow Up (2015)" → not given by the source
  • "melancholia-inspired" → see above
  • The pop genre is sourced to ref 8, which is a press release. This falls under WP:PRIMARY and it'd be inappropriate to include what the record label defined the song as so remove it and only keep the electro-pop genre which is sourced by Vibe
    • I'm not sure what it should cite for "It begins as an ballad and turns into a pop rock song.", so please remove what is supposed to cite as well/
  • "EDM elements" and "electronic production" are sourced by ref 8 too so remove them as well

Reception

[edit]
  • "widespread acclaim" → see above
  • Bradley Stern and Brad Stern are the same person, please condense his review into one
  • Idolator should be italicized and it should be just MTV instead of MTV Buzzworthy.
  • See under references for Bustle and Club Corbeille
  • "failed to enter the US Billboard Hot 100" → see above

Music video

[edit]
  • See above for "accompanying"
  • "American creative director" → WP:TMI
  • "a bit of anger, frustration, sadness, the craziness" should be in quotes as this comes directly from Rexha
  • "vacant-appearing" → "vacant" suffices
  • "dark-lit" → "dark" suffices
  • "clad" → "dressed"
  • "and face-to-face with a man" → "facing a man"
  • "impulses."[18][16]" → refs should be in increasing order

Track listing

Charts

Release history

[edit]
  • Format → Format(s)
  • The remixes EP should be included here as well

References

[edit]
  • Ref check: 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16
  • Copyvio at 32.4% which is fine but I would recommend paraphrasing Rexha's quote from the background and composition section
  • Club Corbeille is a blog according to their about page so it should be removed
  • Bustle is considered of marginal reliability at WP:RSP and I can't find any credits for Alex Kritselis so this should be removed too (it's also not listed at WP:RSMUSIC)
  • Why was this source removed?
  • For ref 1, the "Open description for credits" note isn't needed as there's no credits in the description
  • For ref 4, just "various countries" is enough
  • Ref 8 isn't cited properly per WP:SINGLE?
  • Idolator should be cited as a work on refs 3 & 6
  • For ref 11, WP:OVERLINK of MTV and the publisher is just MTV
  •  Not done Assuming this is ref 13 now.
  • The archive links for the Idolator sources don't work, please archive them manually with archive.today
