No Abled-Splaining of History!!

[edit]

This film’s intent was to promote the AktionT4 Euthanasia Program and its intent needs to be noted in the film summary. Not doing so erases or downplays what was done to disabled people during the Holocaust and portrays the film’s message in a more positive or neutral light than is appropriate. 2600:100C:B0AD:87E4:71F4:360F:F37A:428A (talk) 21:23, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have now added information about the film’s purpose of promoting the Aktion T4 program to the film’s description instead of to the summary and that information needs to stay there to ensure historical accuracy. 2603:8080:1500:34C:1DA8:D78B:B4FC:6960 (talk) 01:47, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I mean for real, the origins description of the film noted that it was a Nazi euthanasia film but provided no information about the specific program that the propoganda film was created to promote. Do some people editing this page want readers not to know about Aktion T4? Do they want readers to think the Nazis commissioned a pro euthanasia film for fun? 2603:8080:1500:34C:1DA8:D78B:B4FC:6960 (talk) 02:02, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the fact that T4 was a genocide program targeting the disabled needs to be noted-that’s why the involuntary euthanasia happened-to eliminate people with genes that caused disability. 2603:8080:1500:34C:116F:2307:40ED:CA5C (talk) 06:15, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
