The Advert template should not be used. When factual design specifications do not appeal to a specific editor/editors, this does not legitimize the removal of factual information in the context of design implementation. Design information can not be claimed as an advertisement, design information is a factual section which contains specifics, and conceptual information regarding the existing implementation.

If there is a specific sentence, which we can come to consensus as being: "Written as an advertisement", then it should not be included. Removing entire 13 subsections, under the guise of 'being written like an advertisement' can be seen as censorship by special interests.

WP:NPOV Language

[edit]

The 'Microsoft partnership scandal' appears to violate WP:NPOV. Specifically, no where in the sources does it mention this being a 'Scandal' as denoted in the section title. Additionally, neither source for the passage 'The Iota Foundation was derided' state this.

This section appears to be WP:N however unless sources are corroborate that this was a 'Scandal' it is quite literally WP:NOTSCANDAL. Similarly the Foundation was not derided, as per those sources. Please update sources or reword that passage as this is WP:NOTSOAPBOX.

Note: I have a WP:COI so requested the edit.

Market cap

[edit]

Dear all,

As of now, the market capitalization of the IOTA technology is about $6 Billion.

The fact that those three editors:

https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:DGG https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Amakuru https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Timotheus_Canens

have decided to remove the IOTA wikipedia page yesterday is very disturbing.

Could the page be restored as soon as possible?

Best,

Please pardon my mistakes in formatting.

The use of the word 'abused' in the original is grammatically incorrect, suggesting the DDoS attack was abused. The suggested change clarifies the cause and effect.

Please change

During the seed generator scam, a DDoS network attack was abused leaving initial thefts undetected.

to

Early in the seed generator scam, a DDoS network attack distracted IOTA admins, leaving initial thefts undetected.
