Images and image captions

[edit]

Since others have begun cleaning up the text a bit, it might be a good time to discuss the images as well. A number of files were deleted from Commons because their licensing was questionable, which has actually improved the readability of the article. However, there are still lots of images being used and some of them seem to be a bit iffy context wise. In addition, some of the captions are so long that they are almost like a WP:STUB in their own right. If what's written in these captions is really relevant to the reader's understanding of corresponding article content, then perhaps the captions (and their citations) should be moved to the body of the article. It might then be possible to figure what images to keep and how to rearrange them to improve the overall layout of the article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:20, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
