Article deletion

[edit]

@Rosguill: @Ponyo: @AgisdeSparte: @Boleyn: @ToadetteEdit: @Wikishovel: The I-CTDi article was created by disruptive editor Sevgilerde was restored by User:Andy Dingley, who even kept Sevgilerde's use of Turkish letters in the first sentence ("i-CTDİ"). I believe the onus is on anyone who wants to restore this article to prove that its existence is merited. In my opinion, this content belongs at Common rail#Acronyms and branding; it is merely an acronym used by Honda during six years for two completely unrelated engines. I recommend turning this back into a redirect unless someone can get it past the rejectionist cabal at WP:AFC. Thanks,  Mr.choppers | ✎  01:39, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I object most strongly to being described as a "vandal" here. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:53, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Andy Dingley: - I most certainly wasn't referring to you, in no way do I think you are a vandal - I was talking about Sevgilerde, did you not read anything I wrote above? Again, this was deemed not worthy of a standalone article and was then brought back by a vandal (Sevgilerde) and should remain a redirect until we can agree to change that. Best,  Mr.choppers | ✎  12:59, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"restore redirect deleted by vandal" I was the one who removed the redirect. Now I overlooked that as an accident, but then you immediately blanked it a second time, so clearly that's the line you're sticking to.
Anyway, WP:ANI#WP:OWN, with personal attack and vandalism accusation by Mr.choppers Andy Dingley (talk) 14:20, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
